2019-2020 CTA/SDPBC Salary Negotiations Agreement

A settlement agreement was reached today by the SDPBC/CTA for T-Bargaining Unit member raises for the 2019-2020 year.

All raises are based on the results of your 2018-2019 evaluations, conducted by the SDPBC last school year.

The raise levels are detailed below and will contain all funds due to employees (retroactive to the start of the school year) upon a ratification vote by the bargaining unit.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, dates of ratification are TDB.

Highly Effective = 3.25% raises

Effective = 2.50% raises

Unsatisfactory = 0.50% cost-of-living-adjustment

While this was not the desired level(s) of salary increase sought by CTA, we do believe that this was the highest and last offer the school board was prepared to make. Given that fact and the unknown financial implications of the recent economic downturn and COVID-19 pandemic for the SDPBC, your CTA Negotiations Committee felt it was time to settle and secure the raise offer currently on the table.

In solidarity,

CTA Negotiations Committee
