Here is a special message for educators from our very own Superintendent Dr. Fennoy and the School District of Palm Beach County!

Every May during Teacher Appreciation Week, the School District of Palm Beach County celebrates teachers and honors them for their commitment to our students, and for the dedication and professionalism they bring to their classrooms each day.

We appreciate all that our teachers do inside and outside of the classroom – whether they’re mentoring students, coaching an athletic or academic team, logging practice time with the chorus or band, or serving as an advisor to an afterschool club.

Throughout the week of May 7 for Teacher Appreciation Week, all Palm Beach County students and staff are encouraged to take a moment and recognize the District’s outstanding teachers.

To the schools holding teacher appreciation breakfasts and events, share your photos with us on social media by tagging the District on Twitter or Instagram, and make sure to use the hashtag #ThankATeacherPBC so we can see how you’re celebrating. To our teachers: on behalf of the more than 190,000 students in Palm Beach County’s public schools and their families, thank you for your service!
